This is a nice twist on the old classic Battleship. Unfortunately it's very buggy. First of all there is no explanation on how to set or rotate the ships. In fact, I didn't even know you could rotate them until I found out that the computer player had done it. Game play was OK. But camera 1 made me dizzy and camera 2 still goes back and forth constantly. I don't see any reason both boards can't be on the same screen. Which brings up that this must have been built around a tablet because everything was rather small even on my 5" screen. As for the bugs, three really stood out: #1- It didn't start marking my shots on the opponents board until I had already made several moves. #2- Had a difficult time selecting a place to make my shot due to the small board, and found out you can shoot the same spot over and over. #3- After narrowly defeating my opponent, the game didn't end. He took another shot and 'sunk' my last ship. And yet the game still continued! After making a few more shots each, I used the home button to exit the game and write this review. It could be a really fun game after the bugs are worked out. I'm keeping it on my phone for a while in anticipation of an update. Get it now as FAOTD, but wait until the bugs are worked out to spend any cash on it.

Graphics are nice and the space twist on a classic game are a welcomed change, but I encountered a bug in single player mode that made it impossible to win. I had a hit that I completely surrounded by misses without scoring a sink. All I could do was watch the computer keep playing until it won.Another bug in multi-player mode, flashes your opponents ships after each turn, giving new meaning to the term cheating. Unfortunately this bug makes the game unplayable.Fix these bugs and the game has potential.

The graphics are great, fantastic, but are wasted on a simple board game gone digital. Because the developer is trying to make the graphics central to gameplay, when in reality it's not an action game, it drags play out, even with animations turned off in settings.I couldn't even finish my first "quick game" because I became too bored, and it's nearly 2 am while I sit hospital duty for a loved one.Beautiful graphics, bad execution. The Unity engine for a static board game is just overkill, IMHO.For Battleship lovers, it may be just what you are looking for personally, I'm uninstalling.
