Great charger and long cord

This charger is great, it charges my sons Nintendo 3DS and the cord is long, it allow's me to plug the charger on the front cigarette lighter and reach the 3DS on the back seat off the car.

For the past month I was going to be traveling frequently during the weekends. I needed something to charge my 3DSXL while in the car since the trips we're about 4-5 hours long. The charger worked as intended.Pros: Will charge your DS.Cons: It's a preference but it has a bright blue LED glow on it.Feels a little warm.after charging for a while. Nothing dangerous, but noticeable. (about 1 hour plugged in).

Works and it's all that matters. It would have been nice if the old one from the first generation of Nintendo DS would have fit the new one. I do wish Nintendo would make their products so that we don't have to purchase a new one for each new generation of game hardware.
